New Year's Eve...

Yesterday I told you I would show you the other dress I had in mind to wear on NYE. Well, this is the Ted Baker dress I didn't wear for NYE but I wore it another night. I kept the look very simple since the dress is very sexy.  What do you think? Which one do you like better, the Alice & Olivia dress I wore for NYE or this one?

Ayer te mostre el vestido de lentejuelas azules de Alice & Olivia que use para la fiesta del 31 de diciembre. Hoy te quiero mostrar el otro vestido que tambien tenia en mente para ponerme el 31.  Como este vestido fucsia de Ted Baker es bastante sexy quise no quise usar muchos accesorios. Solo use unos aretes chiquitos de diamantitos que me regalo mi novio por Navidad, y que te estare mostrando muy pronto!!! Que vestido te gusta mas, este de Ted Baker o el que te mostre ayer de Alice & Olivia?

New Year's Eve - Fiesta del 31 de Diciembre

I hope you had a great New Years Eve!!! I spent it with my boyfriend, his friends and one of my bffs, Lizette….I had a great time! Remember how I told you I had 2 dresses for NYE but I wasn’t sure which one to wear.  Well, I had my boyfriend choose the dress and he choose this Alice & Olivia sequins dress.  What do you think? Do you like it? Tomorrow I will show you my second option, that I ended up wearing another night.

Ante todo quiero pedirte mil disculpas por no haber hecho puesto ningún articulo hace días, te prometo que no volverá a ocurrir, jaja.  Lo que pasa es que andaba de vacaciones.

En fin, espero que hayas disfrutado la fiesta del 31 de Diciembre! Yo la pase super bien en compañía de mi enamorado/novio, sus amigos y una de mis mejores amigas, Lizette. Te acuerdas como te había contado que tenia dos vestidos para la fiesta del 31, pero no estaba muy segura cual ponerme. Bueno, deje que mi enamorado escogiera el vestido que mas le gustaba, y escogió este de lentejuelas de Alice & Olivia.  Te gusta? A mi lo que mas me gusto fue el escote en la espalda.  Mañana te enseñare el otro vestido que tenia en mente …. besos

Happy New Year's - Feliz Año Nuevo!!!

First of all I want to thank you for all the support you have given me this year, it has definetly been more than I ever dreamed of. Thank you for visiting my blog, following me on facebook and twitter, for the comments you leave and the emails you send me.  It has been a great experience and I can't wait to share more with you in 2011. New Year's Eve Outfits

I had previously given you a few ideas on what to wear for  New Year's Eve, but a lot of you guys had asked me to do another post. So, this time I wanted to focus on more casual outfits.  I understand a lot of people may just go to a house party or chill at a bar, which calls for a more relaxed look.

Ya les  mostré algunos outfits para el 31 de Diciembre, pero muchas de uds. me habían escrito pidiendo mas ideas.  Por lo que quise hacer otro post con outfits que son mas casuales pero a la vez muy chic.

If you don't want to wear a dress, you have plenty of choices; depending on where you are going. You can always wear a skirt, leggings, pants or jeans and dress them up. If you like to show your legs wear a short or knee-high skirt. If you go for a more over-the-top skirt or pants, keep the rest of the outfit simple, you don't want to over do it. And vice versa, if you wear a more elaborate top keep the skirt and pants simple.

Si no quieres ponerte un vestido para el 31... no te preocupes, ya que hay muchísimas opciones.  Puedes usar una falda, jeans, leggings o pantalones. Si te gusta mostrar tus piernas puedes usar una mini o una falda a la rodilla.  Si decides ponerte una falda o pantalones que son llamativos, asegurate de llevar una blusa o un top que sean mas sencillos; ya que no quieres arruinar tu look.

Ya sabes que te vas a poner el 31 de diciembre? Yo ya tengo dos outfits pero todavía no escojo el que me voy a poner. Le dije a mi novio que el puede escoger el que mas le guste!!!

Shopping with Mom!

My mom is very shy...the opposite of me, lol. I have been wanting to post pictures of her before, but she didn't want to.....hahaha.  So, I was so happy when she finally agreed to take this pic with me for my blog!  My mom has the best style and is always dressing so cute. We are very different when it comes to clothes, she is more classic and I am more over-the top!  Doesn't she look adorable?

Mi mama es muy tímida, lo opuesto a mi, jajaja.  Hace siglos he querido poner fotos de ella en mi blog pero no quería. Pero, ayer que salimos la convencí para que nos tomáramos esta foto.  A mi me encanta el estilo de mi mama, es muy clásica y siempre se ve divina.  Mi mama no puede estar sin sus cardigans y sus chalinas. Se ve linda no?

My mom and I went shopping to San Francisco yesterday. We didn't get there until 3 pm but it was still pretty crazy ... there were people everywhere. My mom got me some fabulous shoes, sunglasses (shown in these pictures) and my favorite perfume! I will post pictures soon!

Mi mama y yo fuimos de compras a San Francisco ayer y te cuento que fue una locura total.  Nosotras no llegamos hasta las 3 pm pero todavia habia mucho gente en las tiendas. Mi mama me regalo unos tacones divinos, las gafas que tengo en estas fotos y mi perfume favorito!

This is the first time I wear this trench coat that I got at Zara a few moths ago. I also wore my Cole Haan boots - I have to be comfortable when I walk now, no more 5 inch heels like I usded to.   Last time I wore this boots was with a dress as shown in this post.

Esta es la primera vez que me pongo este impermeable/gabardina de Zara.  Tambien me puse mis botas de Cole Haan, ahora cuando camino tengo que usar zapatos bajitos, ya quedo atras la epoca donde caminaba con tacones de 5 pulgadas.  La ultima vez que me puse estas botas fue con este vestido.
