Safari Time!

I hope you had a great weekend! I actually spent quality time with my family and friends.  I got a mani-pedi at Natalie Salon in Los Gatos. If you live in the South Bay you should check it out, Cindy is great! To top off a great weekend I went on a little shopping spree.

As you can tell I have been loving cargos for a while, I got this pair as a gift from one of my friends from Spain.  They are the perfect fit and length.  And hats are my best friends right now, this one being one of my favorites.  Hope you like the outfit as much as I do!

Espero que hayas tenido un fin de semana increíble.  Yo pase tiempo con mi familia y amigas, me hice un pedicure y manicure y ademas fui de compras!

Como te habrás dado cuenta me encantan los pantalones de estilo militar, estos me los regalo una amiga de España, el largo y el estilo son perfectos.  Ultimamente estoy usando muchos sombreros, este es uno de mis preferidos.  Espero que te guste el "outfit" tanto como me gusta a mi.

The Shoe of the Week - Alexander McQueen

Since this is my first "Shoe of the Week" post I wanted to pay special tribute to the brilliant British designer Alexander McQueen. He was a genius and used his imagination to create the most beautiful, unexpected, extravagant, unique, captivating designs. These shoes from the Angels and Demons Fall 2010 collection - his final collection - leave me speechless and that is hard to do.  He may be gone, but his designs will live forever. May you rest in peace Alexander McQueen.

Como este es mi primer articulo del 'Zapato de la Semana" queria prestarle tributo al diseñador Ingles Alexander McQueen. Para mi el era un genio que uso su imaginación para crear los diseños mas bellos, únicos y extravagantes.  Estos botines , de la colección de Otoño 2010 - la cual fue su ultima - me dejan sin palabras.  Que descanses en paz Alexander McQueen.

ZARA August 2010 Lookbook

I went to Zara the other day and I saw a few pieces from their 2010 Fall Collection, which I am fascinated by.  I saw a lot of long coats, predominantly in camel - one of the "it" color for Fall.  I also noticed some beautiful capes. There were a lot of what I assumed, were faux fur jackets, coats and vests.  I also saw a few harem pants, long skirts, military inspired jackets - also very trendy right now - and blazers.  As you can see in the pictures knee-high and over-the-knee-high socks are back!

At the end of the day I ended up buying a trench coat and harem pants. I can't wait to show them to you!  Are you loving any of these pieces?

El otro día fui a Zara y tuve la oportunidad de ver varias cosas de su colección de Otoño 2010, la cual me gusto mucho. Me fije que esta colección trae varios abrigos largos, pero esta vez la mayoría son de color beige; el cual va a estar muy de moda este Otoño.  También vi muchos pantalones "harem" o como los llamo yo, tipo "MC Hammer" jajaja.  Ademas habian varias parkas, casacas estilo militar y faldas largas, todas estas piezas van a estar muy de moda este Otoño. Y como de costumbre no podían faltar los abrigos de piel. Como podrás ver en estas fotos, las medias hasta la rodilla y encima de la rodilla regresan con fuerza.

Al final yo termine comprandome un "trench coat" (impermeable) y unos pantalones harem, que me muero por mostrarte. ¿Hay alguna pieza que te guste de esta colección?

"F" for Flor, Flower, Fan and Flowy

Like I have said before, I really ♥ maxi dresses. They are chic, romantic and at the same time comfortable.  I found this dress at H&M and my mom told me to get it! Thank you mom.... Did I tell you I am also loving headbands?  Hope you like the outfit!

Welcome to the Jungle!

One of my dearest friends is in town right now and I am SO happy! We went shopping this weekend and also took these pictures down the street from my house. It is where we usually take our dog "Koby" for a walk.  It is so pretty and peaceful. I felt like dressing comfortable and chic this day.  I knew I wanted to wear the shorts that my friend got me in Spain, so I just added everything else after. Once again I am wearing a blazer.  I think they are on top of my must-have list, I literally wear them with everything.  I also love ♥ wearing hats, it adds that extra something to your outfit, plus you don't have to do your hair!

Una de mis mejores amigas esta de visita y estoy súper contenta.  La verdad es que no hay nada como pasar tiempo con tus amigas, este fin de semana fuimos de compras un rato y encontramos varias cositas.  Ademas, hicimos tiempo para que me tomara estas fotos cerca de un parque por mi casa.  La verdad es que ese día me quería vestir cómoda pero chic a la vez. Sabia que me quería poner estos shorts que me trajo de España por lo que se me hizo bien facil escoger este "outfit." Solo le tuve que agregar un saco, una blusa, mi sombreo  y asunto resuelto.

I am so glad I got these Christian Louboutin espadrilles last year.  They are very comfortable and chic. I have to be careful because they are white...you know how that goes.  Now onto my Valentino handbag. I have to tell you that I have a love-hate relationship with this bag, hahaha. Sometimes I ♥ it and sometimes I don't even want to see it.

Estoy encantada de haberme comprado estas alpargatas de Christian Louboutin el año pasado, son muy cómodas y chic. Tengo que andar con mucho cuidado porque son blancas, ya sabes que hay que cuidarlos. Ahora hablemos de mis bolso Valentino. Te tengo que confesar que tengo una relación amor-odio con este bolso, jajaja. A veces me encanta y otras veces no quiero ni verlo.

Olivia Palermo just landed the August cover of ASOS magazine and I just wanted to share these pictures with you.  I have been obsessed with her fabulous wardrobe and impeccable taste for years. This American socialite is perfection; her style is flawless and she rocks any look like no other. I love how she mixes high and low-end items to create a unique look.  Accessories are her best friends and she always knows how to put that extra icing on the cake. Para mi esta socialite Neoyorquina tiene un gusto y una clase dignos de admirar.  Su estilo es impecable y nunca deja de sorprendernos.  Me encanta como mezcla ropa de diseñador con ropa barata para crear combinaciones únicas.   Los accesorios son su mejores amigos y nunca falla en llevar exquisitas joyas para completar un look super chic.
