Falling for Fall

I hope you had a great weekend! I finally got to do some Christmas shopping with my mom and I got my boyfriend the perfect gift, I hope he likes it! Besides going shopping, my mom and I decorated the Christmas tree and the house. I love this time of year!

Espero que hayas tenido un súper fin de semana. Yo fui de compras navideñas con mi mama y ya le compre su regalo a mi enamorado, espero que le guste! Ahora solo me falta comprar el regalo de mi mama y mi hermano mayor.  No se tu, pero yo siempre espero hasta el final para comprar todo. Este fin tambien armamos nuestro arbolito de Navidad y el naciemiento...me encanta esta epoca del añ0.

Even though I love summers, I must admit, that I am falling for Fall! During this time of year not only do I get to wear my favorite coats and boots, but I can also admire the beauty of Fall colors and ever changing leaves - the yellows, the reds, the oranges... just gorgeous!

Aunque el Verano es mi estación preferida y adoro el sol y la playa, tengo que confesar que me estoy enamorando del Otoño. Durante esta época, no solo me puedo poner mis abrigos y botas preferidas, si no que también puedo admirar la belleza de los colores de las hojas y los paisajes.

The Shoe of the Week - Nicholas Kirkwood

Ever since I saw this red suede Nicholas Kirkwood bootie I can't stop thinking about it.... I mean, who wouldn't, right? I am just a sucker for shoes, especially when they are this fabulous.   In case you were wondering, this beauty retails for $975!

Leather & Bows

My mom took these pictures yesterday and as she was finishing the photo shoot, the battery died.  Thank God I got enough pictures! I have been looking for a white blouse with a black bow for a while,  but I haven't found the perfect one.  So, yesterday an idea came to mind.  I grab a silk sash belt and I tied it around the neck - I think it worked! I love the final product, what do you think?

Mi mama me tomo estas fotos ayer, pero no pudimos terminar "nuestra" sesión de fotos ya que la batería se acabo.  Felizmente ya me había tomado varias fotitos.  Te cuento que desde hace un par de meses he estado buscando una blusa blanca con un lazo negro en el cuello, pero hasta el día de hoy no he encontrado la blusa perfecta.   Por lo que se me ocurrió una idea... agarre un liston y me lo amarre en el cuello! Creo que logre mi cometido. Que te parece, te gusta?

If I told you that I got this leather pants 8 years ago would you believe me? Well, it's the truth and I am glad I never got rid of them, hahaha. The style was a little different though.  They were bell bottoms but I took it to my tailor and as you can see, he fixed them!

Si te digo que me compre estos pantalones de cuero hace 8 años me creerías?  Espero que si, porque es la verdad, jaja.  Lo único es que estos pantalones eran acampanados, por lo que los tuve que llevar a mi costurero para que me los arreglara.

My love for Fur

I think I could wear fur - faux-fur everyday haha. I am not kidding either. Every time I throw on a fur vest or a coat I just feel very chic and glamorous!  My friend Jose took this pictures a couple of weeks ago when it was in the 30s in the Bay Area. I was literally shaking when he was taking the pictures!

Yo creo que me podría poner "fur" (piel) todos los día, jaja. Y no estoy bromeando, ah! Es que cada vez que me pongo un chaleco o un abrigo de "fur" me siento toda "Glamour y Cache" jajaja. El dia que mi amigo Jose me tomo estas fotos, hacia un frio bárbaro, estaba como menos de 30 grados fahrenheit y yo temblaba!

I was not planning on wearing this camel coat but it was freezing, so I had no choice.  I got  this Zara coat in Spain, like 8 years ago, and it still looks the same.

Yo no habia planeado en ponerme este abrigo, pero hacia un frío que no me quedo otra opcion!  Este abrigo camel me lo compre en España hace 8 años, y te juro, que se ve igualito que cuando me lo compre.

Dany de Fab Chic and Fit

Todo empezó en Julio, cuando Dany de Fab Chic and Fit me dejo un mensaje en Chictopia, desde ese día nos hicimos amigas! Yo acababa de empezar este blog y Dany  me recibió al mundo de "bloggers" con los brazos abiertos.  Dany siempre me ha dado los mejores consejos, por lo que estoy infinitamente agradecida con ella.  Ademas de darme consejitos, Dany es una linda persona y siempre esta tratando de ayudar al resto de chicas.

Tweed & Silk

Don't think that I wore this outfit in cold weather, I am not that crazy, hahaha.  My friend Jose took these pictures a while ago but I forgot about them, oppsss.  I love tweed jackets, my dream is to have a Chanel one!!! Anyways, I went to forever 21 and found this tweed mini that was calling my name... the rest is history! Do you like tweed jackets?
