Twisted Silver Christmas Giveaway!!!

Christmas is just around the corner and to thank you for your support I am doing my first giveaway .  I was so excited when Twisted Silver agreed to do a giveaway on my blog.  Ever since they sent me the Square One ring and the River Bracelet, I have become one of their biggest fans.  And I am not the only one who loves wearing their jewelry - a lot of celebrities are wearing their jewelry as well.

Prize:

The winner will walk away with these gorgeous Square One earrings (pictured above).  Made of raw brass, this pair will age and change with air heat and time to create a unique character.  You have until 12 midnight PST Monday, December 20, 2010 to enter the giveaway.  I will pick the winner using random.org on Tuesday, December 21, 2010. Anybody can participate, even if you live outside of the US.

What you need to do to participate:

1)You must visit Twisted Silver and look through their collection.

2) Become a follower of my blog with Google Friend Connect, Facebook or Twitter.

3) Write a comment on my blog, Facebook or Twitter which answers the following question: “What is your favorite piece of jewelry from Twisted Silver, besides the Square One earrings?”

Parece mentira que Navidad esta a la vuelta de la esquina y  para agradecerte por todo tu apoyo Twisted Silver y yo hemos decidido hacer un sorteo antes de las Navidades.  La verdad es que estoy muy contenta que Twisted Silver haya querido hacer este sorteo ya que desde que me regalaron una pulsera y un anillo me he vuelto adicta a sus joyas. Y yo no soy la única – muchas celebridades también las adoran.

Mom Knows Best!

I have had this jeggings since last year and I think I have worn them once before.... I am all about leggings but I am still not quite sure how I feel about jeggings....do you like them?  Anyway, I got this cardigan for my mom last year, but it doesn't mean because yellow (and any color in-between) is my favorite color, it has to be hers too - FAIL! It has been sitting in her closet forever so I just felt like wearing it yesterday.  BTW I convince my mom to take these pictures, not bad...right?  I am SOOOO happy & excited, because that means that now you will see "outfit posts" more often!!! Thank you mom, I love you!!!

Me compre estos leggings de denim hace como un año pero solo los he usado una vez.  Los leggings negros me encantan, pero todavia no me acostumbro a los de denim.  Tu que piensas?  Queria añadirle un poco de color a mi outfit, asi que me puse este cardigan amarillo que le regale a mi mama, pero que no le gusta mucho, jajaja. Te cuento que convencí a mi mama para que me tomara estas fotos! Estoy feliz ya que eso significa, que de ahora en adelante me estara tomando muchisimas fotos de mis outfits!!! Christmas Gift Guide for "HIM" under $50

I put this list together based on my boyfriend and brothers, but I think most men think alike, hahaha.  So, hopefully you find these ideas helpful!

A lot of men love sports, so why not get him a pair of tickets to his favorite sporting event.  You could also get him, a one year subscription to his favorite magazine, and I am not talking about the magazines we like, Vogue, Elle, Us Weekly, lol.  A bottle opener is a must for most men.  A nice pen, his favorite cologne or a beautiful tie could also be great choices.  After all, men are easier to please than women!!! Lo prometido es deuda y para las que todavía no saben que regalarles a su enamorado, novio, esposo, papa, amigo, hermano.... etc, aqui les traigo algunas ideas.  Ya saben, los hombres no son como nosotras que morimos por un para de zapatos, unas joyas o una cartera preciosa, ellos son mas fáciles de complacer.

Hice esta lista de regalos basada en mi novio y hermanos pero creo que la mayoría de los hombres piensan igual, jajaja.  A que hombre no le gusta ir a un partido con sus amigos, por eso le puedes regalar unos boletos para ver a su equipo preferido. También le puedes regalar una subscripción de un año para una revista que le encante o un abridor de botella, para esos dias cuando quiere celebrar! Y a quien no le hace falta una pluma o una colonia rica.  Bueno, y pense en las corbatas porque mi papito, que en paz descanse, era fanático numero uno de ellas. Yo siempre le regalaba corbatas.  Espero que estas sugerencias te ayuden.

Red & Black

I just realized that I have been wearing a lot of red lately...it must be in the air, haha!  I love red and black together, that's why I decided to throw on this jacket over my black H&M dress.  I wanted to wear a cropped jacket so that you could see the details of the pockets! And you already know I love over-the-knee high boots...on a recent post I wore similar boots. But, this ones are beyond FABULOUS, just loving them.

Despues de ver estas fotos, me he dado cuenta que me estoy visitendo de rojo bastante ultimamente, mmm que sera... Quizas porque ya viene Navidad! En fin, la combinación de rojo con negro me fascina. Quise ponerme esta chaqueta roja cortita para que se vean los bolsillos del vestido.  Al final le agregue esta botas sobre la rodilla que me vuelven loca. Como ya te habras dado cuenta, por mis ultimos posts, la botas altas me encantan.

How sweet is my boyfriend's mom? She knows I love jewelry and she sent me this gorgeous bracelet and ring.  I was having a bad week but when I got her gift she put the biggest smile on my face!

I got bangs!

Hi lovelies, I hope you had a great weekend!  So, I have been wanting to get a new "look" for a long time. For the first time in 2 years I have had the same hair style and I am getting a little bored.  This weekend I was thinking on cutting my hair and getting side bangs...but I wasn't 100 percent sure. So, I went to a hair salon and bought clip-in "bangs" hahaha. Yes, the bangs that I have in these pictures are actually "fake" bangs!!!! I shoot my Univision segment today and Kira, the host of the show, didn't notice they were fake, until I told her!

Espero que hayas tenido un lindo fin de semana! Te cuento que por primera vez en mucho tiempo, he tenido el mismo "look" por 2 años.  Por lo que ultimamente he querido cambiar mi "look". Este fin de semana me entro la locura de cortarme el cabello, bueno, solo el flequillo.  Pero como no estaba 100 por ciento segura, me compre extensiones de flequillo!!! Si, el flequillo que tengo en estas fotos, es flequillo postizo, jajaja. Hoy justo fui a grabar mi segmento de Univision y nadie se dio cuenta que llevaba "flequillo postizo" hasta que le comente a Kira, la presentadora del show.

If you don't want to cut your hair but want to try something different, I think you should try cilp-in bangs! They are easy to put on and can spice things up in a matter of minutes. Now, I am going to find "straight bangs" next! What to do you think????

Si no te quieres cortar el cabello pero quieres un "look" diferente, te recomiendo que pruebes extensiones de flequillo. Son bien faciles de poner y te pueden cambiar el look en minutos. Que piensas de mi look???
