OMG where do I start. As many of you know - from facebook and twitter - last Thursday I had the opportunity to meet and interview one of the world's most well known designers, the classy and beautiful, Carolina Herrera. I found out that she was going to be at Neiman Marcus in San Francisco the night before ... and you know I had to be there!!! As you can imagine, I didn't have much time to plan my outfit, and most of the stuff I wanted to wear was at the cleaners. It was a nightmare, but at the end I decided to wear this Zara red dress, paired with Christian Louboutin heels, Valentino bag and this ring that Pop of Chic sent me.

No se ni por donde empezar. Como se los comente en facebook y twitter, el jueves pasado tuve el placer de concoer y entrevistar a una de las diseñadoras mas conocidas en todo el mundo, la fabulosa Carolina Herrera. Es que lo escribo y no lo creo.... wow. La verdad es que es un sueño hecho realidad. En fin, les cuento que me entere de este evento la noche anterior y como se imaginaran no tuve mucho tiempo para planear mi outfit. Y lo peor de todo es que lo que me queria poner estaba en la lavanderia. Por eso decidi ponerme este vestidito rojo de Zara, mis tacones de Christian Louboutin, mi cartera de Valentino y este anillo que Pop of Chic me mando.
As soon as Carolina Herrera arrived you could feel this amazing energy in the air. First thing that came to mind was - she is as graceful and classy as we see her on magazines and TV. I could not stop starring at her...one thing I can tell you is that she does NOT look her age. She is very beautiful and elegant, as I have always known her to be.

Ya se imaginan cuando llegue al evento - por se acaso llegue media hora antes - estaba esperando ansiosa la llegada de Carolina Herrera. Les soy sincera, estaba un poco nerviosa y cuando la vi no lo podía creer. Ni bien llego, se podía sentir una energia impresionante. Ella como toda una dama, inmediatamente saludo a unas cuantas personas y luego empezó a ver su colección. Te puedo decir que el tiempo que pase hablando con ella, me di cuenta que no parece que tuviera su edad, se conserva muy bien. Carolina Herrera es hermosa, elegante, fina y clásica.
Thanks to Phoebe, Director of Communications, I was able to interview her. We talked about a lot of things, her 2011 Spring/Summer collection, what inspires her, her latin roots and much more. Una vez que estaba allí hable con su publicista, Phoebe, y tan linda me concedió una entrevista. Hablamos de muchisimas cosas, entre ellas de su colección de Primavera/Verano 2011, en que se inspira para diseñar, sus raices latinas y mas. Este Martes a las 6 y 7 am, estaré en Univision 14 y Telefutura 66, contandoles sobre esta entrevista y mas. Asi que si vives en el Area de la Bahia no te lo pierdas!
