You know those days that you are not doing anything and start thinking, I wonder how that would look with ... Well, that's how I came up with this outfit. I was feeling a little edgy and wanted to wear my Phillies (baseball team) hat that my boyfriend got me. Garry is a huge Phillies fan. So, I figured pairing the hat with a dress and lots of jewelry would be the perfect combination, hahaha. The thing is that I was not going out, I was meeting my friend Jose to do a photo shoot. Let me tell you, that when we were taking the photos, people were looking at me like I was crazy. Here we are, at Stanford University and I show up all glam up. hahaha. Hace unos meses mi enamorado me regalo este gorro de su equipo de béisbol, los Phillies. Como ya saben, a mi me encantan los deportes. Y ahora le voy a casi todos sus equipos - ya saben, hay que apoyarlos, jajaja. Desde hace mucho tiempo quería tomarme unas fotos con este gorro y quería que fuera algo diferente. Por eso el vestido corto, los collares y los tacones. Te cuento, que mientras Jose me tomaba las fotos, la gente me miraba como si estuviera loca, jajaja. Es que la sesión de fotos la hicimos en la Universidad de Stanford, donde todo el mundo estaba vestido super relax, menos yo! Las cosas que hacemos por ♥
I know you ladies probably don't care about sports, but the Philadelphia Phillies play the San Francisco Giants today and they have to win in order to have a chance to advance to the World Series. So you know, I am going to be a nervous wreck. Let's GO PHILLIES!

Take Me to a Game!
I came across these pictures that were taken when I was doing sports for Telemundo. I can't help but smile when I see them, it was such an amazing time in my life. I miss covering sports, especially being on the field running after athletes, hahaha. Honestly that was my favorite thing to do, especially wearing 5 inch heels - I am NOT kidding either! During my time with Telemundo and Univision I got to interview and become friends with some amazing athletes such as Barry Bonds, Cuauhtemoc Blanco, Landon Donovan, Steve Young, Eduardo Najera, Miguel Tejada to name a few. But things have changed now, if I go to a game I am stuck wearing flat shoes - thanks to my bad back. So, I thought I put together two outfits that you can wear to a sporting event. I know many girls don't like sports, but trust me, once you understand the game - you will LOVE IT! Just make sure not to wear the opposite team's colors hahaha.

El otro día encontre estas fotos que me tomaron cuando trabaje como reportera y presentadora de deportes para Telemundo. Cada vez que veo estas fotos no puedo ocultar mi felicidad. Fue una época muy linda en mi vida donde tuve la suerte de entrevistar y hacer amistad con atletas como Barry Bonds, Cuauhtemoc Blanco, Landon Donovan, Carlos "El Pibe" Valderrama, Ivan "Ban Ban" Zamorano, Landon Donovan, Eduardo Najera, para nombrar algunos. En esa epoca me acuerdo que para ir a un partido usaba tacones altísimos y corria tras los atletas como si estuviera usando zapatillas (tennis). Ahora, las cosas han cambiado, si voy a un partido me pongo zapatos bajos (ya sabes, por lo de mi espalda). Asi que pense por que no creo dos "outfits" que te puedas poner si es que vas a un partido. Solo asegurate de no usar los colores del equipo contrario, jajaja.

I realized that for the past few weeks I have only been showing boots in "The Shoe of the Week" section. So, I wanted to change it up a little bit and found this gorgeous Vince Camuto suede pump in deep purple. The color is amazing - it goes with a lot of things. It adds that extra "something" to any outfit! This picture doesn't do this beauty justice, the back of the heel is amazing.

Me he dado cuenta que las ultimas semanas solo he estado mostrando botas o botines en el segmento de "El Zapato de la Semana," por lo que hoy te traigo algo completamente diferente. Desde que vi este tacon de Vince Camuto dije: "esta es mi nueva joya". El color morado esta precioso y lo puedes combinar con muchas cosas. Y ni que se diga del taco, en esta foto no se puede apreciar muy bien, pero es toda una obra de arte

Falling for Flowers
I've been enjoying shopping online lately. I never used to shop online before, but I recently became addicted to it - not sure if that's a good thing, ha ha ha. I got this fabulous cobalt blue leather skirt at Forever 21 a while ago and I decided to wear it for the photo shoot that I did with my friend Jose. I am LOVING the color....the fit, not so much.

Ultimamente estoy comprando mucho por internet, antes nunca lo hacia, pero ahora creo que me he vuelto adicta, ja ja ja. Hace un mes encontré esta minifalda de cuero en Forever 21, creo que me costo menos de $15. El color es lo que me llamo mas la atención - divino. Yo sabia que en las fotos se veria mejor todavía, por eso me la quise poner cuando mi amigo Jose me tomo estas fotos.
I love the simplicity of this Ted Baker cardigan in the front. But, when you turn around it's like you are wearing another outfit -the flowers give life, to the not-so plain cardigan anymore. As soon as I tried it on I felt like Super Woman with her cape on ha ha ha! I wasn't sure what necklace I wanted to wear, that's why you see me wearing two different ones. My youngest brother, Felix, got me the black necklace for Christmas...sweet ha? I decided to add knee-high socks, since I am feeling the whole "school girl" look.

Cuando encontre este cardigan de Ted Baker me lo tuve que comprar allí mismo. Me encanta como es sencillo y clásico al frente, pero cuando te volteas se ven todas las flores; me siento como la mujer maravilla con su capa, jajaja. Como te podras dar cuenta, no sabia que collar ponerme, por lo que en las fotos salgo con dos. El de piedras negras me lo regalo mi hermano menor, Felix...lindo verdad? Para completar el look me puse estas medias encima de la rodilla, como todo una colegiala!
