It's beauty Sunday and since it's getting warmer, I wanted to share with you my favorite products to get that sun-kissed tan! Back in the day I used to be that girl that would lay out for at least five hours and put baby oil, tanning lotion, coke and beer - YES, I was crazy - and even drink carrot juice (my daddy made it for me) before laying out. But as I get older, I don't lay out as much, and if I do I apply SPF on my face and then I cover it with a towel. I then apply a tanning lotion with SPF 6 on my body (not, the best but it's better than baby oil). So, I've learn to fake it like the pros.
My favorite self tanning product has to be St Tropez Self Tan Bronzing Mousse, it does wonders! I wear it anytime I have a big event to get the perfect golden glow. I love that you don't have to wait hours or even a day to see results, you will notice the tan right away. The best part is that it dries in less than two minutes, so you can get dressed right away.

Hoy es Domingo de belleza y como ya empezó a hacer calor en el Hemisferio Norte, quiero compartir con ustedes mis autobronceadores preferidos. Hace mucho yo era la tipica chica que pasaba horas en la playa/piscina todo por lograr el bronceado perfecto. Era de las que se echaba aceite de bebe, bronceador Hawaiian Tropic, Coca Cola, cerveza y hasta me tomaba un extracto de zanahoria (que mi papito, que en paz descanse me preparaba) media hora antes de salir a broncearme. Pero mientras mas años pasan, menos tiempo paso en el sol. Y si me bronceo me pongo un bloqueador solar en el rostro y una toallita para cubrirme la cara; en el cuerpo si uso bronceador. Por eso con el pasar de los años he pobrado decena de autobronceadores, esperando estar bronceada pero sin los rayos del sol, y estos son mis preferidos.
Mi autobronceador preferido es el Mousse de St Tropez ( St Tropez Self Tan Bronzing Mousse) ya que te da un bronceado increíble, como si hubieses pasados horas en la playa. Yo lo uso cuando tengo algún evento y me deja la piel color caramelo. Lo mejor es que no tienes que esperar horas para que notes la diferencia y se seca en menos de dos minutos.
Jergens Natural Glow Daily Moisturizer
If you don’t want to spend a lot of money on St Tropez Self Tan Bronzing Mousse I highly recommend Jergens Natural Glow Daily Moisturizer. It creates a tan that is gradual which means that you will not see results right away. It usually takes me a day or two before I start seeing a tan. But I love that I can apply it as a lotion.

Si no quieres gastar tanto dinero comprando el autobroceador de St Tropez (St Tropez Self Tan Bronzing Mousse) te recomiendo la crema autobronceadora de Jergens (Jergens Natural Glow Daily Moisturizer). Esta crema te da un bronceado gradual, por lo que no vas a ver el resultado ahi mismo como con el mousse de St Tropez. Por lo general me toma un dia ver el resultado final, pero me encanta que me la pongo como crema

Per-fekt Body Perfection Gel/Tan
I recently discovered Per-fekt Body Perfect Gel and I’m hooked on this product. It’s like a tinted moisturizer for your body, it helps hides imperfections and it gives you a subtle glow. Now, it won’t give you the St Tropez or Jergens tan, but you will still look a shade darker and your skin will feel like silk (I’m obsessed with the formula). It doesn’t streak and doesn’t smell like most self tanners, which I love.

Hace poco descubrí el gel de Per-fekt Skin (Per-fekt Body Perfect Gel) y estoy enamorada de este producto. No te va a dar el bronceado que St Tropez o Jergens te pueda dar, pero te da un bronceado muy natural y te ayuda a esconder la imperfecciones. Este gel diria que es como una crema sedosa con color. Lo que mas me gusta es que no huele feo como otros autobronceadores y que no te mancha la ropa, al menos las veces que lo he usado no he notado ninguna mancha.
