You probably read on Facebook and Twitter that I went to Connecticut this weekend. Sometimes it feels great to get away from the city. I went to visit my friend and we had so much fun. It was snowing, so I decided to wear flats boots, at least during the day :-)

I woke up today missing the Bay Area, my family and my friends a lot. So, I started going through pictures and I realized I had not share these ones with you yet. I had so much fun that day. My mom and I went to eat at La Mar, a peruvian restaurant, and then we went shopping. It was the perfect day with my favorite person in the whole world! Have a great day :-)

Hoy me levante extrañando San Francisco, mi familia y mis amigas un montón. Así que me puse a ver fotos y me di cuenta que todavía no había compartido estas con ustedes. Ese día la pase divino. Mi mama y yo fuimos a comer a La Mar, un restaurante peruano, y luego fuimos shopping. Un día perfecto con mi persona favorita en todo el mundo. Que tengan un lindo día :-)

Looking at these pictures makes me want to take the night flight back to California. It is freezing in New York right now, it's 10 degrees Fahrenheit. I have no idea how people can ever get used to this weather. Tomorrow I have to do two TV segments, one for Telemundo at 10 am nd the other one for CNN en Español at noon, and all I know is that I'm going to freeze when I leave my place.

El solo ver estas fotos me hacen querer tomar un avión con destino a California. Hace un frío horrible aquí en Nueva York, con decirles que ahorita la temperatura esta en 10 grados Fahrenheit. No tengo ni idea como algunas personas puedes vivir en lugares tan fríos, yo me congelo. Mañana tengo que hacer dos segmentos, uno en Telemundo y el otro en CNN en Español y creo que cuando salga de mi casa me voy a convertir en hielo jaja.

If you follow my blog you know that besides fashion, sports is my other passion! In case you didn't know, I used to be a sports producer/reporter/anchor for Telemundo and Univision for over 8 years. So when the San Francisco 49ers played the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday, I had to cheer them on, especially after covering the Niners for over 8 years! I wanted to dress sporty yet fashionable, so this is what I came up with. Do you go to sporting events and if so, what do you usually wear?

Si siguen mi blog saben que ademas de la moda, los deportes son mi otra pasión. Y es que por mas de 12 años he estado involucrada con el mundo de los deportes, ya sea trabajando como reportera/presentadora de deportes para Telemundo o Univision o trabajando en la radio, en el periódico o como jefa de prensa para un equipo de fútbol. Así que cuando los 49ers de San Francisco jugaron este fin de semana, tenia que apoyarlos así fuera de lejos. Esto fue lo que use y es que quería un look medio deportivo pero chic a la vez. ¿Y a ustedes les gusta ir a partidos de fútbol, y si es así que se ponen?

Don't you just love hanging out with your girls? One of my girls AKA as Queen came to visit me this weekend and we had the BEST time! I love having my girls around, it just makes me smile even more. I hope you had a great weekend too :-)
