Since I started my blog in 2010 not only have I changed as a person but my style has changed as well. I was just looking at pictures from 2013 and I realized I was more into color, prints and trends back then. Today I'm gravitating more towards neutrals, especially white, black, grey and camel. When I look at those pictures I can't believe it was ME! I guess we all go through changes and right now I'm loving the more classic and simple pieces. This weekend I went shopping and guess what? Everything I bought was white, black and grey ... but don't get me wrong I still love me some color! As a matter of fact, talking about color is making me wear something really bright tomorrow! Desde que empece el blog en el 2010 yo he cambiado mucho como persona pero mi estilo no se queda atrás. Ahorita estaba viendo fotos del 2013 y uff que tal cambio que a dado mi estilo. Antes me vestia con mas colores fuertes, estampados y siempre quería probar lo que estaba de moda. Hoy en día, como se habrán dado cuenta - si me siguen en Instagram - mis looks están conformados por colores neutrales, especialmente el camel, blanco, negro y gris. Cuando veo esas fotos a veces ni me reconozco, es lo maravilloso de este blog, que se ha convertido en un tipo de diario para mi. Les cuento que este fin de semana fui de shopping y que creen ... todas las piezas que compre son de color negro, blanco y gris.  Aunque no crean, sigo amando los colores fuertes. Asi que mañana se me apetece vestirme con colores vivos y dar rienda suelta a la Flor de hace unos añitos. Sigueme en Instagram para ver que me puse :-)

Little Black Dress for Cosmo for Latinas party!

I forgot about these pictures. I took them last month at the Cosmo for Latinas party in New York! When I first saw this dress I fell in love with it right away. The lace gives it a feminine touch and the leather adds edge, perfect combination if you ask me! .

Ya me había olvidado de estas fotos, me las tome en la fiesta de Cosmo for Latina en Nueva York el mes pasado. Cuando vi este vestido fue amor a primera vista. Me encanta que  tiene detalles en encaje y cuero a la vez, lo hace femenino y  sexy.

Little Black Dress to Host Macy's Fashion Show

Hi Queens! As you know, last Thursday I co- hosted a Fashion Show at Macy's in San Francisco and I had so much fun. How could I not? I was talking fashion and giving style tips = heaven! Thanks to those of you that were able to make it, I had a great time meeting you all :-) So, this is what I wore ... I just love me some feathers :-) Do you like my outfit?

The Little Black Dress

This week's challenge was to wear your LBD! I actually don't wear black dresses that often, I am all about color. But, on Friday I wore an LBD that my friend Sindy designed. The bad thing is that it was too dark outside and the pictures came out horrible. But I promise you I will wear the outfit again. In the meantime, I leave you with an older LBD photo shoot!

It had been a while since my friend Jose took some pictures but here we go again.  These pictures have to be one of my favorites so far, I love how they turned out!!!  I mean look at that turquoise tile .... just LOVE!  Since I knew we were going to be shooting the pictures in the bathroom, I wanted to wear a dress that would pop against the turquoise tile - so I went with this LBD from Forever 21 and the Miu Miu leopard booties to spice things up!

El reto de esta semana era usar un vestidito negro.  Yo por lo general no uso vestidos negros mucho, ya que AMO los colores vivos. Pero, el viernes me puse un vestido negro que mi amiga Sindy diseño. Lo único malo fue que tome las fotos en la noche y salieron horribles. Pero te prometo que me volveré a poner ese outfit y te mostrare las fotos. Mientras tanto te dejo estas fotos usando un vestidito negro.

Hace tiempo que no me reunia con mi amigo Jose para que me tome fotos.  Como ya les conte anteriormente, el es fotógrafo y ha ganado muchos premios. La verdad es que estoy enamorada de estas fotos, dime si no son divinas? Y no lo digo por mi, jajajaja, si no porque me fascinan las losetas turquesas. Es por eso que escogí este vestido negro de Forever 21 para que resalte con el fondo. No podian faltar los botines de leopardo para que le den sabor al vestido!

Estos botines de leopardo de Miu Miu, son uno de mis preferidos ahorita. La ultima vez los use, me los puse con jeans y un top verde.

Jose and I added the red carnations and jacket to make the space more glamorous!

Jose y yo agregamos estas flores y mi saco rojo para que le de un toque de glamour al espacio!

What's "I challenge you to..."? New Year's Eve Outfits

New Year's Eve is almost here!!! Do you know what you are going to wear yet?  This is the time to put on that fabulous dress and conquer the world. This night you should not be afraid to glam-up, after all, it's a night to celebrate!  So, to make things a little easier for you, I put together different outfits.  If you notice, I picked one dress and gave it two different looks. I hope you find some inspiration!

No puedo creer que año nuevo esta a la vuelta de la esquina!!! Ya sabes a donde vas a ir y que te vas a poner?  Yo todavía no se a donde voy a ir, pero lo que si se, es que esta noche es una noche para celebrar!  Asi que no tengas miedo de vestirte glamorosa, al contrario, esta noche se ha hecho para brillar. Para ahorrarte un poquito de tiempo, he creado tres outfits basados en vestidos.  Si te das cuenta a cada vestido le he dado dos looks diferentes.... espero te guste!

Sequins are pretty hot right now, perfect to wear to a  New Year's Eve party.  If you do wear sequins remember to keep the rest of the outfit simple, you don't want to overdo it.  If you like color like me,  you can wear a bright bag or shoes, but try not to do both. And of course, don't forget to add accessories, they will complete the outfit!

Las lentejuelas son perfectas para usarlas en esta ocasión.  Te aseguro que si te pones un vestidito de lentejuelas no vas a pasar desapercibida. Si te vas a poner uno de estos vestidos, asegurate que tus zapatos, cartera y accesorios sean simples y no compitan con el vestido. Si tu vestido es de color obscuro y quieres agregarle un poquito de color a tu outfit, puedes ponerte unos zapatos o cartera de color mas fuerte.  Eso si, escoge  entre zapatos o cartera, no ambos, ya que puedes arruinar tu look. Sin decir ni una sola palabra, brillaras toda la noche.

If you are more conservative and want to stick with the LBD, why not try a strapless or one shoulder dress for this occasion? Remember, it's New Year's Eve and not a regular party!!!  If you wear a black dress you have more options to play around with color and different textures. Si tu esilo es mas conservador puedes llevar un vestidito negro; que de tantos apuros nos saca. Pero para esta ocasión, prueba un estilo diferente. Porque no usas un vestido straples o de un solo hombro? Recuerda que es una fiesta de año nuevo y puedes ser mas atrevida! Si usas un vestido negro, es un poco mas fácil escoger los zapatos, cartera y accesorios, ya que tienes mas opciones para usar colores y diferentes texturas.
