Yesterday was a very emotional day. It was like a movie but in slow motion ... just remembering when I first moved to the US from my beautiful Peru and everything that has happened since then. After many years of living in this country I finally became a US citizen! I'll forever be grateful to this country that has become my very own. It is TRUE when they say that the US is the land of opportunities. Thank YOU United States for opening so many doors and making my dreams come true :-) On that note, I want to thank you mom and dad (in heaven) for everything that you have done for me and for coming to the US. I LOVE you both SO MUCH!!!

Ayer fue un dia super sentimental. Fue como una pelicula pero en camara lenta ... acordandome del dia que me mude de mi adorado Peru a Estados Unidos y todo lo que ha pasado desde ese entonces. Despues de vivir muchisimos años en este pais finalmente me hice ciudadana estadouniense! Siempre estare eternamente agradecida con este pais por abrirme las puertas y hacer que muchos de mis sueños se vuelvan realidad :-) Es verdad cuando dicen que este pais es el pais de las oportunidades. Bueno, esto no hubiese sido posible si no hubiese sido por mis papas. Por eso mamita y papito (que esta en el cielo) les agradezco de todo corazon todo lo que han hecho por mi siempre, los adoro.
