Floral Blazer at Hispanicize

Hi Queens!

I hope you are all doing great! I'm doing fabulous myself, the sun keeps me smiling and happy :-) So, this is what I wore to another session of Hispanicize in Miami. I wanted to keep the outfit stylish but professional at the same time that's why I wore a blazer and pants! You could wear this outfit to the office, the only thing I would change is the top, since it shows some cleavage.

Espero que esten super bien. Yo estoy feliz de la vida por que hemos tenido dias soleado en Manhattan :-) Les queria mostrar otro look que use para asistir a la conferencia de Hispanicize en Miami. Quería verme fashion pero a la vez profesional, por lo que opte por ponerme un saco y pantalones. Este tipo de atuendo lo puedes usar para la oficina, lo unico que tendrian que cambiar seria el top, ya que es muy destapado.

Yellow Maxi Skirt and Stripes

The weather has been beautiful in Manhattan, so this weekend I tried to be outside as I much as I could. I went to Central Park on Saturday and ended up at Beauty and Essex for drinks after. Yesterday I met up with the beautiful Johnnybell from NY Trendy Moms and we had lunch and talked "fashion" for hours :-) I hope you had a fantastic weekend also!

El clima ha estado divino en Manhattan, por lo que este fin de semana trate de pasar el mas tiempo posible que pude afuera. El Sábado en la tarde fui a Central Park y la pase divino, no hay nada como estar rodeada de la naturaleza. Y hoy sali a almorzar con la hermosa Johnnybell de NY Trendy Moms, ya se imaginan hablando de moda todo el tiempo. Espero que ustedes tambien la hayan pasado lindo :-)

Beach Day!

I love to layout and be at the beach, probably my favorite thing to do. And while I was in Miami I did just that :-) So, I wore a simple but colorful maxi dress, a fedora and white bag. Not the perfect bag to take to the beach but my beach bag was in New York!

AMO broncearme y estar en la playa, quizás sea una de las cosas que mas me gusta hacer. Y cuando estuve en Miami obviamente que fui a la playa  y esto fue lo que me puse :-) Aunque tengo que confesar que este bolso no es el ideal para llevar a al playa, pero los otros estaban en Nueva York!

How to do a braided Bun

We all have bad hair days or days when we don’t want to spend more than a couple of minutes styling our hair; I know I do. And when that day comes my go-to hairstyle is the donut bun. It looks beautiful and it takes less than five minutes to achieve the look. This day in particular I was running late to an event and thought this would be the perfect look. As you can tell I added a braid to make it more fancy!

Todas tenemos días que nuestro cabello simplemente esta espantoso o dias donde no queremos pasar mas de cinco minutos arreglandolo, al menos eso me pasa a mi de vez en cuando. Y cuando eso sucede, automáticamente me hago un moño. Se ve lindo y toma menos de cinco minutos hacertelo. Ese día tenia un evento pero no tenia mucho tiempo para arreglarme, así que el moño me salvo la vida. Como se daran cuanta le agrega una trenza, que ademas de estar muy de moda, le dio un toque mas glamoroso.

If you want to rock the donut bun you are going to need a donut, two elastic bands, bobby pins, a brush and hairspray.

  • Make a ponytail where you want the bun and slide the donut (tube) over it.
  • Then cover the donut with the remaining of your hair and secure it with an elastic band.
  • At this point you will have a few pieces of hair left around the donut, which you are going to braid in two sections
  • Then you are going to wrap one braid around the donut and secure it with bobby pins. You are going to repeat the same thing with the other braid.
  • Add Elnett hairspray and you are ready to rock and roll

Si quieres hacerte un moño, vas a necesitar un donut o bagel, ganchos, dos gomas de cabello, un cepillo y laca.

  • Empieza por hacerte una cola de caballo e introduce la cola por el agujero del donut.
  • Luego cubre todo el donut con el cabello que resta y coloca con una goma por encima.
  • A estas alturas te van a sobrar pedazos de cabello alrededor de la donut, los cuales vas a trenzar en dos secciones.
  • Después vas a enrollar alrededor del moño una trenza y asegurarla con ganchos. Vas a repetir el mismo procedimiento con la otra trenza.
  • Al final asegurarte de ponerte laca para fijar el peinado.
