New York Fashion Week Fall 2013 - Day 2

Second day of NY Fashion Week meant saying hello to blizzard 'Nemo' and trying to find an outfit that was fashionable yet warm, comfortable and snow appropriate - I failed on the last three. Remember I'm from Peru and lived in sunny California, so I'm not used to this weather. Either way I had a great time attending Czar by the Cesar Galindo, Project Runway, Noon by Noor, Nautica and Rebecca Minkoff shows. I will share more from these shows in the next few days!

En el segundo dia de La Semana de la Moda de Nueva York nos toco darle la bienvenida a la nevada 'Nemo'. Lo mas difícil ese dia, fue encontrar un outfit lindo pero a la vez comodo, que me abrigue y que sea apropiado para la nieve - creo que falle en los últimos tres. Y es que luego de vivir en Peru y California no estoy acostumbrada a este clima. Pero igual la pase divino en los desfiles de Czar by Cesar Galindo, Project Runway, Noon by Noor, Nautica y Rebecca Minkoff. Pronto les contare mas sobre esos shows.

Fusion de Estilo with Ford!

I want to share with you these pictures from theFashion's Night Out event that I hosted with Ford at the Soho House in New York. I put together two looks inspired by the Ford Fusion, which I think is sleek, chic, fast, with an edge, and my favorite trends for Fall - burgundy, leather and tweed. Did you like the looks? It was an AMAZING event and I want to thank Ford, RL Public Relations, Bollare, for letting me pull some  pieces, my models and all the people that came out! I hope you enjoy the pictures :-)

Pastel Yellow Jeans

This is the first time in years that I'm peeling this bad and I'm scared that my skin tone is going to be uneven. I want to cry :-( Thank God I wore Artistry Beauty Time Defiance (sunscreen) on my face, it saved me from being sunburned. So, that's why I have been avoiding short skirts, dresses and anything that shows my legs at all. Hopefully I will be back to normal soon and I can wear a couple of cute dresses and skirts my BFF sent me from Spain :-) Thank you sis!!!

Esta es la primera vez en siglos que me estoy pelando tan feo. La verdad es que es horrible y tengo un miedo que la piel se me manche :-( Gracias a Dios use bloqueador de Artistry Beauty en mi rostro y no se me quemo (bueno mi nariz un poco). Por eso se daran cuenta que ultimamente no me he puesto vestidos cortos ni minifaldas ya que hasta las piernas se me estan quemando y no quiero que les de el sol - para evitar las manchas. Ojala mi piel vuelva a la normalidad pronto, para asi ponerme unos vestidos y faldas que una de mis mejores amigas me mando de España :-) Gracias sis por tus regalitos!

I need to get a photographer ASAP because it's getting harder and harder to take picturess. You know I take the pics with a tripod right? So, sometimes they don't come out as nice :-( Some bloggers are soooo lucky to have somebody take their pics, it makes such a big difference. Today, I was talking to Dany from Nany's Klozet and I told her my next boyfriend needs to be a photographer hahaha. So, she said .. "start casting them on your blog" hahaha. So, if you are 5'11 or taller, work out, have photography experience and .... just kidding, haha! On a serious note ... if you are in NYC and know of somebody that is a great photographer please send them my info :-)

Necesito un fotografo urgente. Y es que yo tomo las fotos solita con un tripie y las fotos no salen tan bonitas como quisiera :-( La verdad es que algunas bloggers tienen mucha suerte de tener quien les tome las fotos, hace una gran diferencia. Hoy justo le comentaba a Dany de Nany's Klozet que mi proximo novio tiene que ser fotografo, jaja. Y ella me dijo "Flor haz un casting en tu blog" jaja. Asi que si mides mas de 1:80 metro, haces ejercicio, eres buen fotografo y ... jaja BROMA! En serio, si conoces a alguien en Nueva York que sea buen fotografo pasala mi info :-)
