I've been moving and I'm finally at my new place so it's been crazy! But wanted to share with you these pictures, nothing like a bodysuit and some black pumps!!!

You all know I'm a Christian Louboutin kinda girl but when I saw these Gianvito Rossi Cap-Toe Illusion Pumps I could not help myself. I think they are the perfect pumps. I love that the cap-toe is gold and the back is nude, it gives you endless options to wear them with. When I first saw them I thought, "Flor you should of gotten them all in nude" But now I think I made the perfect choice. Oh and the heel is much smaller than the Louboutins I wear, making these ones way more comfy. You can buy them here
Ya saben que soy amante de Christian Louboutin pero cuando vi estos zapatos de Gianvito Rossi me enamore. Siiii, ya se que me enamoro mil veces de los zapatos, son mi perdición jajaja. Estos de aquí me encantan por que son de dos tonos, por lo que me dan mas oportunidades de usarlos. Y les cuento que el tacón es mas chiquito haciéndolos super cómodos. Que les parecen?
Earlier on I did a segment on Telemundo NY, NJ and CT and we talked Fall Fashion. I really enjoy doing these segments because I'm in my element. I am also a wardrobe stylist so I love to make people look their best according to their body shape. I wanted to give these girls different looks for different occasions, but I also wanted them to be able to wear the pieces again and again and again

Hoy hice un segmento en Telemundo NY, NJ y CT sobre la moda de Otoño. No puedo creer que ya va a empezar el frío aquí de nuevo. Pero tengo que admitir que me encanta ponerme abrigos, botas altas y casacas de cuero. Como pueden ver mis modelos tenían looks para diferentes ocasiones, pero también quería que pudieran usar las piezas mas de una vez.
If you have to invest in some chic pieces for Fall, I say go get yourself a biker jacket, lace-up shoes, camel coat and something suede!
Si tienes que invertir en algunas piezas para este Otoño, te recomiendo que compres una casaca de cuero (tercera modelo), zapatos con pasadores (primera modelo) un abrigo de color beige (segunda modelo) y alguna pieza de gamuza.

I'm so excited for this new site because now it will be so easy for you to navigate and find all the shoe posts. Click on categories and then find shoes. I'm still transferring my older shoes posts, so be patient with me, since it's five years :-) I'm also thinking, I may do a daily shoe post. What do you think? About the shoes, these lace-up heels have a soft spot in my heart and have become one of my go-to shoes when wearing dresses, skirts and shorts. Estoy super contenta con este nuevo blog, por que para todas ustedes que son amantes de los zapatos como yo, se les va a hacer mucho mas fácil encontrar mis posts sobre zapatos. Solo hagan click donde dice "categories" y luego donde dice "shoes". Todavía estoy transfiriendo los posts antiguos, así que tengan paciencia conmigo por favor :-) Pero les cuento que estoy pensando en escribir un post de zapatos diarios. Que les parece la idea? Hablando de estos tacones, les digo que se han convertido en uno de mis favoritos. No solo son sexy, cómodos pero ademas me van con casi todo en mi closet, desde vestidos, faldas, jeans hasta shorts. Y lo mejor de todo es que cuestan menos de $40. A propósito estoy vendiendo muchos de mis zapatos en mi pagina de Instagram dedicada especialmente a los zapatos: Flor de Maria Shoes.
When I headed to Tulum for a little vacay, I didn't only wanted to enjoy the beaches but I also wanted to learn about the history of the area. Last year when I went to Cancun I went to Chichen Itza and it was amazing, so this time around I knew I wanted to visit Cobá for sure.
We got up really early in the morning and we were the first ones to arrive there. I still can not believe we got there before the big crowds, but the Board of Tourism of Mexico had arranged everything for us and they sure knew what was best! I felt like I was in a private tour since there was nobody around. If you are headed there I highly recommend getting there right before 8 am so you don't have to deal with the heat and also the big crowds.
I love history and I'm always intrigued by different cultures, so I felt right at home there. Since all the ruins are a little bit far from each other, we had to get a bike to get around. The Ancient Pyramid (picture above) is still open to the public to climb - 130 steps - unlike Chichen Itza. But it was so hot and I was afraid I was going to get vertigo that I decided just to seat pretty and take pictures, ha, ha, ha. At least I keep it real right? :-)

Cuando fui a Tulum de vacaciones yo sabia que no solo quería visitar sus playas, y eso que AMO la playa, si no que también quería aprender de su cultura y visitar Cobá. El año pasado que fui a Cancun visite Chichen Itza y la verdad es que fue una experiencia inolvidable. Por lo que esta vez no me quería perder la oportunidad de visitar el yacimiento arqueológico Maya de Cobá.
Ese dia nos levantamos super temprano y fuimos los primeros en llegar. Todavia no puedo creer que éramos los primeros en la fila, pero gracias al Fidecomiso de Promocion Turística del Estado, que planearon todo pudimos evitar las grandes colas. De esta forma me sentí como si estaba en un tour privado! Si van a visitar Cobá les recomiendo llegar antes de las 8 de la mañana, para así evitar el calor y la gente.
Una vez adentro se sentía una paz y una energía que no puedo describir. En si fue una experiencia maravillosa que me dejo lindos recuerdos. Aunque no escale toda la pirámide por temor a que me de vertigo al bajar, si logre subir unos escalones.
Hi Queens, welcome to my new site!!! It's been a while since I've been wanting to update my blog and it finally happened. I hope you like it as much as I do!!! I feel like this new site is so much easier to navigate and it goes better with my personality right now, clean and simple.

On this new chapter of my life or I should say new chapter of my blog, I want to share more than my outfits with you. Hola, mis Queens, bienvenidas a mi nuevo blog!!! Estoy super contenta de finalmente mostrarles el resultado final .... espero que les guste tanto como a mi. Hace ya mucho tiempo que quería darle un makeover a mi blog y finalmente lo conseguí. Siento que este blog va mas con mi estilo de ahorita, simple, sencillo, minimalista y al punto jaja.

It was so humid in Tulum I could not wear my hair down, so it was a braid kinda day!
I had been wanting to visit Tulum in Mexico for the past year or so. I fell in love with that little town when I saw it on a travel blog, right after my trip to Cancun, last July. So my dream finally came true a couple of weeks ago when I had the opportunity to stay in paradise for almost a week. I call it "paradise" because that's exactly what Tulum is too me! There's the beach, the food, the people, the little magical town and everything in between ... it makes you want to move there and sit under an umbrella and sip on coconut water (or coconut water with rum :-)) all day. There was something so peaceful and warm about that town that I already want to go back. I think is going to become my "escape" at least once a year. If you want to join me, just tell me! We took these pictures at the hotel we were staying at before we went to walk around town and have a beautiful candlelight dinner. Earlier on we just went to the beach, since it was our first day there, sip on some cocktails and enjoy the beautiful scenery.

Recuerdo que un dia estaba en el aeropuerto esperando mi vuelo a Nueva York y di a parar en un blog donde hablaban de este pueblito llamado Tulum, Mexico. Desde el día que vi esas fotos quede enamorada de ese lugar y prometí ir algún dia. No saben mi alegría, cuando finalmente, después de un año de ver esas fotos, llegue a ese lugar tan hermoso. Y digo hermoso, por que para mi, es realmente como un paraíso. Imaginense, levantarse con la brisa del mar, tirarse en la arena, cero maquillaje, con el cabello como leona jajaja y con un jugo de coco en mano ... diganme si no seria ideal? De solo pensarlo, me dan ganas de mudarme a Tulum mañana mismo. Espero les gusten estas fotitos tanto como a mi.
