I hope you had an amazing weekend! Things are finally getting back to normal after traveling for almost three weeks. What can I say? Living in California has me smiling because I get to wear skirts, crop tops and sandals! I feel like I've been wearing jeans and bodysuits a lot - check my Instagram - so I decided to switch it up a bit and threw on this floral skirt and crop top. I think this skirt is beautiful and you can dress it up or down, plus I feel you can wear it at any age, depending on what you pair it with.

Espero que hayan tenido un fin de semana maravilloso.  Después de viajar por casi tres semanas para mi ya todo esta regresando a la normalidad. Este fin la pase super relax después de andar de arriba a abajo, me sentí super contenta de no hacer casi nada. Les cuento que ahora que estoy viviendo en California una vez mas, me puedo dar el lujo de usar faldas, sandalias y estos tops cortitos. My Hispanicize Adventures

A couple of weeks ago I attended Hispanicize where I was a speaker for the fourth consecutive year. Imagine being in sunny Miami and getting pampered every day, kind of a dream come true if you ask me! That’s right, I visited Orgullosa’s Living Fabulosa lounge, where I got my makeup done with COVERGIRL. I definitely felt like a Queen every time I left the lounge. My good friend and celebrity makeup artist, Aileen Quintana left me feeling truly fabulosa by matching me with the perfect shade of TruBlend Foundation that offers natural, dewy coverage.

While in Miami I also had the opportunity to do a fashion segment with Telemundo’s morning show, Un Nuevo Dia. I always get very excited when I get to share my fashion/beauty tips on TV (I went to school for Journalism) but this time, it was extra special because it was a National TV segment and that meant that a lot of you, could watch too.

Besides doing TV, attending different panels, getting pampered at Orgullosa’s Living Fabulosa lounge and being a speaker at the conference, I also made time to go to the beach and hang out by the pool – who wouldn’t right? Overall it was an amazing experience and I’m already looking forward to next year!

Hace un par de semanas fui a la Conferencia de Hispanicize, donde tuve la oportunidad de hablar en un panel por cuarto año consecutivo. Imagínate estar en la rica ciudad de Miami y además que te mimen por cinco días. Si me preguntas a mí, es todo un sueño hecho realidad. Y es que todos los días que estuve allá, visite el lounge Living Fabulosa de Orgullosa donde COVERGIRL me maquillo y dejo como toda una reina. Mi gran amiga y maquillista de las estrellas, Aileen Quintana realmente me hiso sentir fabulosa con el maquillaje TruBlend Foundation que ofrece cobertura natural y fresca.

Durante mi estadia en Miami también tuve la oportunidad de hacer un segmento de moda en Un Nuevo Dia por Telemundo. Siempre me pongo super contenta cuando voy a hacer un segmento en televisión, pero esta vez fue aún más especial, ya que iba a ser a nivel nacional. Lo cual significaba que muchas de ustedes me iban a poder ver.

Además de hacer mi segmento de televisión, asistir a diferentes charlas, vivir mimada por COVERGIRL y hablar en la conferencia, también hice un tiempecito para ir a la playa y pasar rato en la piscina. Los cinco días que estuve en Miami la pase riquísimo y espero volver a visitar esa bella ciudad muy pronto.

Have I told you that I'm so into platforms right now? That's a bit surprising for me, especially because I love stilettos! But platforms are a big trends this season and they look great with wide leg jeans, pants, shorts and skirts! Are you loving this trend?

My Must-Haves for Miami

I'm back in the Bay Area right now but I'm headed to Miami this Monday to attend Hispanicize, where I will be speaking on a panel this Thursday! Miami is so humid that I need to make sure my hair stays looking fabulous through out the conference ... you know how we women suffer with our hair sometimes! I've been using these John Frieda hair products for the past few weeks and I'm hooked, reason why they are coming to  Miami with me!

Ahorita estoy en San Francisco pero este lunes me voy a Miami para asistir a la conferencia de Hispanicize, donde voy a estar hablando en un panel el jueves. Ever since I went back to being a brunette :-) (I don't miss being a blonde at all) I started using Brilliant Brunette Color Protecting Moisturizing Shampoo and Conditioner. Desde que me oscurecí el cabello (la verdad es que no extraño ser rubia para nada) cambie de champu y acondicionador y busque uno que fuera especialmente para el pelo oscuro. Tengo que confesar que no soy amante de la laca, solo la uso cuando salgo en television o salgo en la noche. Hola mis Queens!! Si me siguen en Instagram saben que ahorita estoy en Los Angeles. Llegue el martes para hacer unos segmentos de television, personal shopping y reuniones. El clima ha estado riquísimo y hoy fui a comprar el periódico La Opinion, ya que una servidora, aparece en dicho periódico. Asi que si vives en Los Angeles o Nueva York no te olvides de agarrar una copia tanto de El Diario Nueva York como La Opinion. Espero les guste el articulo :-)

I know I wear this camel coat a lot, but it's the perfect compliment to any outfit; especially when it's a little cold out. But I must confess that we are so spoiled here in California, the weather has been amazing lately, and it feels like Spring! I'm so lucky to be in the Bay Area and not freezing in New York. I guess I get the best of both worlds :-) See, I even get to wear these sandal boots during February. Well, not right now since I'm headed to the gym!

Yo se, yo se, uso este abrigo bastante y es que va con todo y ademas es el toque perfecto cuando hace un poquito de frío. Tengo que admitir que tengo mucha suerte de  estar viviendo en California ahorita y no en Nueva York, ya que cada vez que veo las fotos de las calles de NY con nieve, me pelo de frío y ni siquiera estoy alla. Sin embargo ahorita en California me puedo poner estas sandalias tipo botas, algo que no pasaría en mi amado NY! Bueno, ahorita me voy a poner mis zapatillas ya que me voy al gimnasio.
