No heels A.K.A. prosti shoes today, just high tops! Do you like this look?
Hoy deje descansar mis tacones o prosti shoes, para ponerme unas zapatillas altas. ¿Les gusta el look?

You recognize this place right? It's my rooftop in New York, where I used to take my pictures :-) I completely forgot about these pictures, but here they are. When I'm picking my outfit I usually decide what shoes I want to wear and then the rest follows. That day was no different. I love these heels!

¿Si reconocen este lugar no? Es la azotea donde tomaba mis fotos en Nueva York. Me había olvidado por completo que tenia estas fotos, pero aqui estan :-) Por lo general cuando decido que me voy a poner, escojo los zapatos primero y el resto le sigue. En esta ocasion no fue la excepción, no me ponía estos tacones hace siglos, asi que dije, ya es hora de que salgan a pasear.

I don't think I had worn a skater skirt since New York, so I had to wear this blue one from Topshop to go to brunch today. I paired it with this crop top and this fabulous Dareen Hakim clutch! I love how feminine but edgy this outfit is. Are you into crop tops this summer?

Creo que no había usado una falda tipo skater desde que vine de Nueva York, así que me puse esta azul de Topshop con un top cortito negro para salir a almorzar. Para completar el look le agregue este sobre anaranjado de Dareen Hakim y tacones de leopardo. Un look femenino y atrevido a la vez. ¿Les gusto?

I'm not kidding, I started wearing heels at age three, when I walked around my house wearing my mom's heels. My mom says I wouldn't even fall :-) My prosti shoes as I call "high heels" have a special place in my heart. I don't know what it is, but as soon as I put them on I feel like a brand new woman. But, let me tell you that these yellow Vogue Footwear flats have become my go-to flats this summer. They are super comfortable, cute and colorful. So, do yo rather wear heels or flats?

No estoy bromeando, a los tres añitos andaba por mi casa con los tacones de mi mama. Recuerdo que vivia fascinada con sus zapatos y cada oportunidad que tenia me los ponía. Mi mama me cuenta que se sorprendia por que no me caia :-) Asi que los tacones o como los llamo "prosti shoes" tienen un rinconcito muy especial en mi corazón. Y es que no se que es, pero ni bien me los pongo me siento como una nueva mujer. Pero, estos zapatos amarillos chatitos se han convertido en mis zapatos preferidos de este verano. Y es que ademas de ser bonitos son super comodos. ¿Y tu prefieres tacones o zapatos bajitos?

It's been a long day, I had my personal shopper hat on for most of the day and then I went to the doctor, but I wanted to share with you a few pictures from my Santa Cruz getaway before I went to bed (it's almost 2 am in California). I hope you like them :-)
